Adriana Poleo, DDS was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She graduated from Universidad Santa Maria School of Dentistry in 2003 and opened her own private practice. In 2006, Dr. Poleo came to the United States to pursue an Advanced Education Degree in General Dentistry at Boston University. She was then offered to join the Faculty Practice at Boston University. She remained there until 2008, when she decided to obtain her Dental License in the United States. She then moved to Los Angeles to attend the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where she obtained her Dentist Degree in 2012. Dr. Poleo was also awarded The Charles L. Pincus Memorial Award for outstanding achievement in the field of Esthetic Restorative Dentistry during the doctoral dental program.
She worked in private practice in the South Bay and then moved to Thousand Oaks to join the Thousand Oaks Smile Design team in January 2017.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Association. Dr. Poleo is married and has two young boys, Lucca and Matias, and loves to spend quality time with her family. She likes to travel, enjoy outdoor activities and loves spending time at the beach.
